How do online therapy sessions work?

Online sessions are conducted through a secure, private video platform. After you book, you'll receive a confirmation with the session link, date, and time. Simply click the link at the scheduled time and you'll be connected with your therapist. The session feels like talking to someone in person, just from the comfort of your own space. All conversations are completely confidential.

Can I pay with M-Pesa?

Yes! M-Pesa is our primary payment method. When you book, you'll receive M-Pesa payment details. Once payment is confirmed, your session is locked in. We also accept card payments and PayLater options for flexible payment.

What if I'm in crisis?

If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe distress, please reach out to emergency services immediately. You can call 999 or 112 for emergency support, or visit the nearest hospital. Our team also offers priority scheduling for clients in acute crisis - contact us on WhatsApp at 0721474205.

How confidential is therapy?

Confidentiality is fundamental to our practice. Everything you share with your therapist is completely private and protected by professional ethics and Kenyan privacy laws. The only exceptions are if you disclose plans to harm yourself or others, or if there is child abuse. Otherwise, your sessions are completely confidential.

Can I choose my therapist?

Absolutely! When you book, you can select which therapist you'd like to work with based on their specialties. If you don't have a preference, you can choose "match me with an available therapist" and we'll find a good fit. If after your first session you feel the fit isn't right, we can help match you with a different therapist.

Do you offer sliding-scale pricing?

How long are therapy sessions?

Standard sessions are 50-60 minutes. This gives enough time to explore what's happening and work through issues without feeling rushed. Group programs have longer session times (90 minutes) to allow all participants to share and be heard.

Are session bundles valid for 12 months?

Yes. When you purchase a bundle (Visitor, Explorer, or Regular), your sessions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You can space them as you like - weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly - whatever works for your journey.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?

Life happens! We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Simply contact us on WhatsApp or email. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in losing that session. We want to work with you, so please communicate as early as possible.

Do I need to have a diagnosis to access therapy?

No. You don't need a diagnosis to seek therapy. Many people come to therapy simply because they're going through a challenging time, dealing with life transitions, or want personal growth. A diagnosis isn't required - just the willingness to work on yourself.

What should I do if I don't feel comfortable with my therapist?

The client-therapist relationship is important. If you don't feel it's working after the first session or two, let us know. We can match you with a different therapist. There's no judgment - sometimes it's just not the right fit, and that's okay.

How do I get started?

It's simple! Click the "Book a Session" button, fill out the form, select your therapist and preferred date/time, and complete payment. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details. That's it - you're on your healing journey!
